Michael Shall has lived in central Virginia for 37 years. From a 19 foot
outboard, he has fished the Bay area extensively
from Smith Point and Pocomoke Sound near the
Maryland line to the mouth of the Bay at Virginia Beach. Michael is also
knowledgeable of inshore angling opportunities in the Atlantic from Sandbridge
near the North Carolina border to Metomkin Inlet on the upper Eastern Shore. He
is an impetuous, naturally curious personality with a yen for experimentation
and adventure. Always willing to try something new, Michael has caught almost
every species of fish known to inhabit Virginia inshore waters with a variety
of methods. He has also fished Florida, Mexico and Belize on numerous occasions
and has utilized popular techniques from those areas very successfully here in
Virginia. Whether you are a novice, resident angler or out-of-towner, this
guide will enable you to benefit from his years of experience.
